Metall Zug Group: V-ZUG has appointed Peter Spirig as the new CEO

Zug, March 31, 2020 – Peter Spirig (CH, 1973) has been appointed CEO of the V-ZUG Group. He will start at V-ZUG presumably on September 1st, 2020, but no later than October 1st, 2020.
 

After a short period of introduction, Peter Spirig will take over the CEO role from Heinz M. Buhofer, who has been in charge of this role on an interim basis since September 1st, 2019. Peter Spirig is a civil engineer, ETH Zurich, and has earned an MBA at INSEAD in Fontainebleau.

 

He has been Head of the Doors Division at Arbonia AG in Arbon since May 1st, 2016. From 2009 to 2016, Peter Spirig worked for the Franke Group in Asia, first as CEO of Franke Food Service Systems Asia; from 2013 he was CEO of Franke Asia and as a member of the Group Executive Board responsible for the activities of the Franke Group in Asia. Prior to that, he worked for Holcim in Asia for 7 years.
